Most gyms are built for the young and already fit. We’re not like that.
We built this gym for women like you busy, real, and ready to feel powerful again.
In 2022, when a local ladies’ gym suddenly closed its doors, a small group of women found themselves without a place to train — and without a community they trusted.
Instead of giving up, we came together and created something new.
That’s how First Point Fitness was born — a safe, welcoming space where women can rebuild their strength, confidence, and friendships.
What started with a handful of members has grown into a thriving community of women supporting each other week after week.
We’re proud to be Abingdon’s home for women’s strength and wellness.

Our coaches have years of experience in various types of fitness and sports.
Individual Approach
Every client of First Point Fitness has a personalised program of training and their own unique goals to reach.
We have a range of cardio machines, along with hydraulic resistance machines and an open floor space for our HIIT and Core classes.
I’ve been a member for a few months now, I looked at all the gyms in Abingdon and then discovered this one, it appealed more than the others because it is ladies only, but also because of Jacqui’s expertise… I look forward to exercising for the first time in my life and feel great for it.

Virginia has over 2 decades of experience in the fitness industry as a coach and a gym owner, she holds a degree in Sport & Exercise Science and Nutritional Therapy. She is also a qualified Pilates coach running in class and online sessions each week. BOOK A CONSULTATION.

Jacqui is a fitness professional and has worked in the industry for several years managing 2 ladies only gyms in her time. She is a firm favourite on site and a true motivator when it comes to women's fitness and health.
